Sardines in Olive Oil

In the picturesque coastal city of Anzio, located approximately 50 kilometers south of Rome, Pollastrini has been crafting canned sardines since 1889. Utilizing wild-caught Clupea Pilchardus sardines sourced from the Mediterranean Sea, all products are freshly processed with the head and tail removed and the fish gutted (though not filleted), preserving their natural shape and stunning silver skin.

Pollastrini Sardines are ideal for antipasto or tapas, and can be incorporated into dressings, sauces, pasta, salads, and vegetable dishes, or simply enjoyed with crusty bread.
