If you purchased a Taylor Pro scale, thermometer or timer between 19 October 2025 and 25 March 2026, please read this notice carefully...

 

At Martha's, the safety of our customers is our highest priority.

We are advising customers of an official product safety recall affecting selected Taylor Pro kitchen accessories, including certain scales, thermometers, and timers.

Affected Products

This recall applies to selected Taylor Pro kitchen accessories sold between 19 October 2025 and 25 March 2026.

Affected products include selected:

  • Kitchen scales
  • Thermometers
  • Timers

Why are these products being recalled?

The recalled products do not comply with the mandatory Australian safety standard for products containing button or coin batteries.

The battery compartment may not be adequately secured, creating a risk that children could gain access to the battery. The packaging is also missing required safety warnings relating to button and coin batteries.

Important Safety Information

Button and coin batteries can be extremely dangerous if swallowed or inserted into the body.

They can cause severe internal burns, serious injury or death, with life-threatening injuries occurring in as little as two hours.

If you suspect a child has swallowed or inserted a button battery:

  • Call Triple Zero (000) immediately if the child is bleeding or having difficulty breathing.
  • Contact the Poisons Information Centre on 13 11 26 immediately for urgent advice.
  • Do not wait for symptoms to appear.

What should you do?

If you have one of the affected products:

  1. Stop using it immediately.
  2. Keep it out of the reach of children.
  3. Return the product to Martha's or contact Lifetime Brands Australia to arrange a full refund.
