Piparras (Guindillas) are Spain’s beloved pickled green chillies. Prized for their gentle heat, delicate sweetness, and signature tender crunch, these iconic Spanish peppers are famously addictive and a staple of authentic tapas culture.

Grown in the fertile regions of the Basque Country and Navarra, in northern Spain; an area renowned for producing some of the country’s finest vegetables; these Piparras peppers are harvested by hand at the precise moment of peak maturity. Each pepper is carefully selected to ensure a uniform green-yellow colour, elegant elongated shape, and an ideal length of around 8 cm, while any damaged or imperfect chillies are removed to guarantee exceptional quality.

Often enjoyed skewered in a classic Gilda (the legendary Basque pintxo combining an olive, anchovy, and Piparras chilli) they’re equally delicious served straight from the jar with drinks, layered into sandwiches, added to salads, or paired alongside charcuterie and cheese boards.
