Jimoto's take on classic Japanese goma dressing is an earthy, nutty, multi-dimensional dressing that sets it apart from the rest.
They source beautiful Japanese sesame seeds and roast them themselves, to preserve that freshly roasted deep flavour. Some seeds are kept whole to add extra texture, combining them with the best Japanese sesame paste we could get our hands on. You won’t find any MSG or flavour enhancers inside this bottle, rather they use inaka miso and Japanese rice vinegar to round out the dressing’s rich umami quality.
There’s no end to the versatility of this dressing, use it to coat noodles, as a dipping sauce for shabu shabu or fresh sashimi. Brush it over grilled pork cutlets or drizzle it over salads or crisp vegetables for an incredibly balanced sesame addition.
