The oil is premium Western Australian Extra Virgin Olive Oil, sourced exclusively from the Donnybrook region, farmed by a third generation Italian family. It is custom blend that was specially selected to best carry the delicate, nuanced flavour of truffle. The blend prominently features Frantoio olives; and provides a beautiful, golden clarity with a clean, grassy flavour.
It is harvested and cold pressed on the farm every year to ensure freshness. Truffle Hill then blend the EVOO with truffle pieces to achieve a balanced but full flavoured product that best showcases all the Black Perigord truffle has to offer.
