In 2017 the old Western Stores building on Orange's main street was closed and subsequently demolished to make way for a new development. The buildings frame was constructed using enormous Victorian Ash beams from trees felled in the 1860's and 1870's. The father & son duo of Lark Hill Timber, managed to obtain a small selection of the timber beams which has been used in some their recent furniture projects.
Instead of wasting any of this small piece of Orange's history, they created the Victorian Ash Bottle Opener to share this small piece of local history with you.
These bottle openers are locally hand-made in Orange by 15 year old Alex.
